  1. I found Ben’s site while searching for the poem “October” by Louise Glück.

So sorry to hear he ended his life. My thoughts go to his friends and family; I know the holiday season can be very difficult.

I’m glad the library is open. What a beautiful gift Ben left to the world. I smiled when I read his words in a comment:

“Dr. Sineokov is from Vladimir Nabokov’s novel “Invitation to a Beheading.” The Floating Library was erected “at just that spot in the city river” where Dr. Sineokov drowned, to honor his memory. I recommend the book…”

I will be sharing “October” later this week on my own site and will mention Ben’s site to my readers.

    Love and light,
    Christy
