Dear T,

FYI: This entire post is a passage taken verbatim from William Burroughs' book JUNKY (hence the citation at the bottom of the post). I don't endorse his views on "tea heads"; I simply quote them.

William Burroughs was a heroin addict, not a pothead, and the observations he makes in this passage are from his perspective as a neurotic junky. I think Burroughs himself (who died in 1997) would agree that, in retrospect, he was indeed "more of a drag" during his years of addiction than your average stoner. I, however, am neither Mr. Burroughs nor a junky, and I resent your accusation that I am "a drag." Next time, please read more carefully before making nasty insinuations.

Yours,

Dr. S

while I agree with what you say, I think your generalizations on ¨tea heads¨ are somewhat askew. that completely goes against general rules of stoner conduct. if you can´t stand people who enjoy socializing, which is without a doubt one of the main parts of the stoner community, then I´m guessing you´re more of a drag than them.
